CDTI Subsidy

JOSÉ SÁNCHEZ ARANDA S.L. has recently made an investment through funding from the CENTRE FOR TECHNOLOGICAL AND INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT (CDTI) IDI-20190585 through the “LINEA DIRECTA DE EXPANSIÓN LIC-a”, called “AMPLIACIÓN Y MEJORA DE LA CONSERVACIÓN EN LÍNEAS DE ESPECIAS Y PIMENTÓN ECO-GOURMET”.

The general objective of this project has been to extend the mixing, dosing and grinding line in order to increase the manufacturing capacity of products such as paprika and spices, as well as to guarantee their storage and conservation in optimum hygienic and sanitary conditions under refrigeration.

With the acquisition of this technology, JOSÉ SÁNCHEZ ARANDA S.L., in addition to increasing the output of the product lines, will be able to improve the mixtures made, increasing volumes and minimising production times. All this, together with a new semi-automatic storage system will allow JSA to guarantee the traceability of stored products, increasing its capacity and, above all, guaranteeing the cold storage capacity of the warehouse to ensure the preservation of the refrigerated end product.

The investment has been undertaken in the factory that the company has in the El Semolilla Industrial Estate, located in Abanilla (Murcia).

The period for the acquisition, installation and set-up of the equipment began in December 2018, and has currently been completed.

The investment had a budget of 220,117.00€ and has been made possible thanks to the concession of a subsidised loan and a partial non-refundable tranche by the Centre for Technological and Industrial Development (CDTI) and the European Union through the co-financing of ERDF funds.
